ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a detail-oriented Product Data Specialist to assist in creating and maintaining product information for our website. This contract role is ideal for someone who thrives on accuracy, efficiency, and organization. The ideal candidate is proficient in Excel, comfortable with large data sets, and capable of working quickly and meticulously.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Data Entry & Management: Accurately create and maintain product SKUs in Shopify
• Spreadsheet Work: Efficiently manipulate and manage large data files in Excel to update pricing, product details, and inventory.
• Website Accuracy: Regularly audit the website for missing or incorrect product information, ensuring a seamless customer experience.
• Product Updates: Monitor best-selling, sold-out, and discontinued items, making necessary updates to reflect inventory changes.
• Content Optimization: Upload product media, ensuring proper naming conventions, formatting, alt tags, and descriptions.
• Collaboration: Work with the digital team to maintain consistency and accuracy across all product listings.
• Assist as Needed: Support other ecommerce and data-related projects as required.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Strong proficiency in Excel (data entry, sorting, filtering, formulas, and bulk updates).
• Highly detail-oriented and able to work quickly and accurately with large data sets.
• Ability to manage repetitive tasks efficiently while maintaining precision.
• Basic understanding of ecommerce platforms (Shopify experience is a plus).
• Comfortable working independently in a remote or in-office setting.
• A problem-solving mindset with a willingness to learn and adapt.

CONTRACT DETAILS

• Remote or in-office position with flexible hours.
• Part-time contract role (approximately 20 hours per week).
• Potential for increased hours during busy periods.
