Lighting is what makes a home feel more comfortable and cozy. Here are a few of our tips for creating the perfect atmosphere in your home.

Before we get into our tips for each room, here are a few things to keep in mind when thinking about home lighting:

• Where do you get the most natural light?
• Think about the height & scale of your room. You don't want your light to appear too large or small for the space.
• What are the paint, floor and furniture colours in your space? Some colours look best under warm, ambient light rather than other under cool, bright light.
• Where are your points of interest? For example, if you have a reading nook, you'll want to have specific lighting for that area.
• How do you want to control your lighting? Do you want to be able to dim your lights, change their colour etc?
