This original painting by Melissa Mary Jenkins features two sardines painted with sustainable and traditional acrylics on 140lb watercolour paper, inspired by the charming sardine shops of Portugal. The rustic olive green background with pops of red complements the blue fish with hints of mustard yellow and brown. Expertly crafted and unique, this piece is a must-have for any art enthusiast.

MELISSA MARY JENKINS lives in a lovely rural setting in an old stone farm house surrounded by vibrant landscapes. Her studio is framed by windows looking out onto dazzling golden fields, towering pine trees, a flourishing apple orchard and a natural pond. She spends her summer on a lake in northern Ontario where she spends her days painting by the lake and local waterfalls. Melissa paints with and around her twin girls and in between living "life."
